Think of a crooked paving stone, but also due to deteriorated vision or hearing, medication use or declining muscle strength. What is clear is that a fall has a major impact! Do you know what your risk of falling is? Take the short test.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone wants to stay healthy for as long as possible, right? A fall could jeopardize this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you curious about your risk of falling? Then answer the following 3 questions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have you fallen in the past 12 months? Yes \/ No<br \/>Are you worried about falling? Yes \/ No<br \/>Do you have difficulty moving, walking or keeping balance? Yes \/ No<\/p>\n<p>If you answer yes to one or more questions, you have an increased risk of falling.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have any questions about this or do you have a<strong>increased risk of falls?<\/strong>Please contact Fit in Wassenaar via the yellow &#8220;contact&#8221; button (top right). This can be done by working on your condition and fitness and by making adjustments at home that prevent a fall. Below are some tips:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Train your balance and muscle strength; get up from your chair several times<br \/>&#8211; Have your medications checked<br \/>&#8211; Eat tasty and healthy<br \/>&#8211; Check your eyes<br \/>&#8211; Wear well-fitting shoes<br \/>&#8211; Make the house safe; sufficient lighting and concealed cables<\/p>\n<p>Start healthy aging on time!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The causes of falls are very different.
