On Tuesday, November 22, core group partners of Fit in Wassenaar organized an online webinar for parents; Youth Work Wassenaar in collaboration with Indigo Prevention and Police. The topic of the Webinar was alcohol and drugs. Parents could ask questions about how to deal with their adolescent children and their use and information was provided about the effects and risks of the substances and the adolescent brain.
In addition, parents were given tools to start a conversation with their son/daughter and parents could ask questions themselves. Youth work and the police were present during this conversation to explain what they could possibly do for young people and parents. The evening was a great success. 63 participants took part in the webinar.
