Financial resources have again been made available from the government for the implementation of the Healthy and Active Living Agreement (GALA) for 2025. If you have a good idea for an initiative that matches the goals, we would love to hear from you! Ideas submitted before May 28 will be submitted for the 2025 plan. If the idea is approved by the municipal steering group Fit in Wassenaar, a financial contribution will be made from Fit in Wassenaar. This is a starting contribution and this contribution is incidental.
Goals of GALA:
Reducing health inequalities;
Promoting the design of a healthy social and physical living environment;
Strengthening the social basis in districts and neighbourhoods;
Promoting a healthy lifestyle;
Strengthening the mental health of residents;
Supporting residents as they grow older.
