From the Sports Agreement II service line, we offer the ASM OldStarts starter course for free for enthusiastic club people from Wassenaar! Its purpose is to provide trainers and supervisors with tools to get older people moving in a responsible manner. With the help of the ASM-OldStars start-up course you will have a better understanding of what responsible exercise is at OldStars Sport. By adding exercise and game forms to the training, you ensure that everyone enjoys the exercise even more, at his or her own level. The components will be discussed and demonstrated during this day.
The ASM-OldStars start-up course is an initiative of the National Fund for the Elderly. Within the OldStars Sport target group, responsible exercise consists of three building blocks. These building blocks are forms of play, offering the right forms of exercise and the social setting in which this happens. The latter is also called social activation. These building blocks together contribute to the health skills of the elderly. Many trainers and supervisors have questions about the structure of the training and the intensity of the various game forms offered. In this start-up course you have the opportunity to ask questions about this and information is shared. The course lasts 1 day.
