For Sport BSO Fun and Friends, exercise and sports are part of healthy growing up.
This after-school care is located at SVC’08 and focuses on sports, where fun is central.
Owner Karolien Janssen – Hoogeveen says: ‘By playing sports, children develop a lot
different skills. Children learn to persevere when an exercise is not (yet) successful, they develop self-confidence, they learn social skills because we regularly play sports as a team. Sports offers many skills that you also need in society
have.’
Sports BSO Fun and Friends recently received a contribution from Fit in Wassenaar for the purchase of various sports equipment. More than 200 children play sports with us every week. There is a great collaboration with SVC’08, where we regularly lend material to each other. We join forces to give many children from the area a sporting start, where the children are introduced to all kinds of sports and learn to exercise in a versatile way. This stimulates broad motor development and thus contributes to lifelong sports.
