Fit in Wassenaar is part of the School Advice Service. The School Advice Service Wassenaar is officially changing its name to Kanslokaal. According to the organization, the new name is more in line with what has been in practice for years: an expertise agency that stands for an integrated approach and the ambition to create opportunities for everyone, in the fields of education, the social domain, sports and health. Simultaneously with the name change, Kanslokaal is also launching a new website:www.kanslokaal.nl.
Connecting role
“Kanslokaal plays a connecting role in education, the youth field, and the broader domain of the Healthy and Active Living Agreement,” said Alderman Bloemendaal at the official moment. “She encourages valuable collaboration, for example by bringing together education, preschool education, sports and the Social Team.”
In more than 45 years, the SchoolAdviesDienst Wassenaar has grown into an organization that does much more than just educational advice. This provides support for development and growth in the community. The new Kanslokaal has been working for education, municipalities, parents, social organizations and sports clubs for some time.
The name may be new, but the services, contact persons and core values remain the same. “Kanslokaal remains committed to providing high-quality support and advice, with an integrated approach and a strong focus on collaboration between education, health, sports and the social domain,” says director Kirsten Wolfert.
