Parent & Child Festival for Young Children and (Expectant) Parents

30-09-2026

Parent & Child Festival – Spotlight On

During Children’s Book Week, Wassenaar will shine the spotlight on (expectant) parents and children up to 4 years old on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

This festival at Wassenaar Library is all about meeting people, sharing information, and enjoying quality time with your child. Parents can receive practical information and ask questions while children have fun participating in a variety of activities.

The festival is completely FREE! This special event is an initiative of Fit in Wassenaar, in collaboration with the library and partners from the Kansrijke Start (Strong Start) Coalition. Although registration is not required, it is appreciated by the organisers.

Many parents would like to learn more about parenting, health, and their child’s first 1,000 days, but often have little time to attend information meetings. The Parent & Child Festival offers the perfect solution: parents can gain valuable knowledge and ask questions while their children enjoy fun activities supervised by professionals.
