National parent evening about vaping

On Wednesday, October 1 (from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM), the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, together with the Trimbos Institute, is organizing a national online parents’ evening on vaping. During this evening, parents will receive tools from experts and tips from other parents to talk to their child about (the harmfulness of) vaping. Register for the online national parents’ evening. Later this year, an initiative aimed at young people themselves will follow, to also encourage them to say ‘no’ to vaping. As a parent, would you like more information about vaping and other themes such as alcohol, drugs, smoking and gaming? On neetegenvapen.nl you can find more information about the harmful effects of vaping, as well as discussion tips for discussing this with children and young people. The new campaign from VWS called “no to vaping” has also developed educational materials. Schools and, for example, sports clubs can use the materials from the toolkit to inform parents.
