Fourth Bicycle Lights Parade in Wassenaar

Be welcome to the 4th Wassenaar Bicycle Lights Parade! On Thursday, February 5, a brightly lit procession of cyclists will again prepare for a festive tour through the village. Of course also this year with a DJ cargo bike, a hot chocolate stop along the way, and a prize for the most beautifully illuminated bicycle! A fantastic opportunity to carefully check the lights on your bicycle, not to put away the Christmas lights for a while, and to use that party hat with flashing lights that your uncle gave you but never dared to put on! We gather at the Van Heeckerenhuis around 5:30 PM for soup and pancakes. There is limited material available to decorate your bike, so if you want to win, decorate your bike at home. At 6:30 PM the procession will leave, accompanied by traffic controllers, for a tour of +/- 7 km through the village. Children can only participate if accompanied by their parents. Participation is free, but at your own risk.
